He's done the opposite.  Whatever the position, he appoints someone who hates whatever department they will head and is a raving right wing looney.  At first I thought he was trolling America.  Like he didn't expect to win and thought it was funny and was like "let's appoint a chiropractor as surgeon general!"  

Now I'm fairly confident a well organized and nefarious, extreme right wing organization controls him and he's a puppet with a Twitter account.  His abrasive personality and Twitter are distractions.

So I think Cruz would've been better.

He did say he was going to change the way business in Washington is done and so far he is doing that. I do agree with your assessment though

I'm going to wait until he begins governing, and the reality of holding the office sets in, before I begin judging how he will be as a leader. Some of his cabinet selections are disturbing, though.

Either way it appears some of these companies suddenly are feeling good about going through with these investments. There seems to be some good vibes coming from the Trump election in the business world. Only time will tell if his election is a good thing, economically.
