This is partially accurate. But as we're already seeing, Republicans aren't admitting that they were wrong about Trump. They're simply ignoring their seven years of orange fellatio and acting like it was those guys over there, and not 90% of the Republican party, who drank the MAGA Kool Aid.

It took an underwhelming midterm for the Republican establishment to turn on Trump, yet they stood by him after Jan. 6.

I would say close to 1/3 of the party would be considered Trump loyalists and don’t give a shit about any political party. The rest would easily move on if the next candidate shows real promise. I’m guessing the Trumpers just won’t vote if he doesn’t get the nod. That’s why I said the Dems should root for him because he’ll fracture the party.

It’s not just the underwhelming midterm, nearly every candidate backed by him lost. That’s about as obvious as it gets. Both political parties want the power so they will do whatever it takes. If that means kicking Trump to the curb, then that’s what they’ll do.

It’s not really a narrative. Trump has a lot of baggage and is old AF just like Biden. DenSantis is young, conservative and just a more likable human in general. It’s the same with Biden. There’s no way the party can back him for ‘24. Trump and Biden are not the path forward for their parties

We are seeing a bipartisan effort to end Trump. Both parties and the media knew a red wave wasn’t coming. Pence had some book quotes ready for a pre planned attack. Collectively they all blame trump and blow smoke up desantis ass. Dems know how hard it was to steal 2020 and want to make damn they don’t face that task again. Establishment reps basically got the finger from a lot of trump voters for not stopping the steal. We’ve seen Cocaine Mitch and house reps bend over for the dems time and time again. If reps tried to stop the steal went on the attack for two years they would have swept both houses easily.

You’re not totally wrong. Reps are weak and fail to understand trumps popularity was purely based on his willingness to punch back. Most Americans are tired of Romney types. We want someone to stand up and say fuck China ,socialism , the lgbt agenda , and God bless America.
