Not really a surprise since I know the ones they made previously were really expensive and even the one before that is at Reagan library (that my grandfather worked on :-) ) was god awfully expensive.

Keep in mind that these planes are also mobile command posts for the commander-in-chief of the armed forces and these contracts include technical support. These aren't just a couple of off the rack 747's.

So my taxes stay the same if that is the actual plan.  But what we are ignoring is what would the taxes have been with Hilary?  So people may not be saving compared to Obama, but they very well could be saving over what could have been with the Hil.

Just my opinion.  But it might be a philosophical difference in taxing the rich.  And again, IMO, but I am against over taxing the super rich.  I believe that the super rich are a lot smarter in investing their money, where their investments will make a economical difference.  You instead tax that money and take it from the rich, and it's gone being wasted on a overpriced plane that no one really benefits from, including economically.

We refinanced this year so I'm not sure how that's going to impact my itemized deductions. This may help me. May not. Looks like I'll save a few bucks.

Hopefully the corporate tax rate drops too. That would probably be better for me than the income tax
