Exclusive: Top U.S. spy agency has not embraced CIA assessment on Russia hacking - sources

The overseers of the U.S. intelligence community have not embraced a CIA assessment that Russian cyber attacks were aimed at helping Republican President-elect Donald Trump win the 2016 election, three American officials said on Monday.

While the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) does not dispute the CIA's analysis of Russian hacking operations, it has not endorsed their assessment because of a lack of conclusive evidence that Moscow intended to boost Trump over Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton, said the officials, who declined to be named.

The CIA conclusion was a "judgment based on the fact that Russian entities hacked both Democrats and Republicans and only the Democratic information was leaked," one of the three officials said on Monday.

"(It was) a thin reed upon which to base an analytical judgment," the official added.

So what is the alternative assessment on why only the Democratic info was leaked, when they have dirt on both parties.

Well, the republicans did say that they weren't hacked.  But say they were hacked.  If they had their information encrypted competently, they may have been hacked, but the information is useless.

Finished recount confirms Trump victory in Wisconsin

Quote

President-elect Trump won the Midwestern state by more than 22,000 votes in November, a margin that increased by 131 votes following the recount, according to preliminary statewide totals announced by Wisconsin's election commission.

Looks like @nate will be AWOL again while he yells at 131 more people telling them they are stupid.

You can argue what exactly could have been leaked that would have made Trump look worse?!?!?   How are you even sure it was the Russians? Strongly suspect? Sure. Know. Much higher threshold. Perhaps members of the Russian oligarchy acting on their own? Perhaps the Republicans? Hell maybe the CIA is really going into business for themselves? (Okay currently reading a book where the CIA and the Russians are the main antagonists and the NSA is one of the good guys(?!?!) may have helped for that idea) Motivations? Too many to be sure to be sure of one or a combination.  Vengeance against the party that sanctioned them? Extortion? In cahoots with the Trump campaign? Strategy to undermine the entire US political system? Social activism? Terrorism?

So, you posted this because Hillary did make a gracious concession speech as per the video?

Or did you post it to make it clear that you'd like to create false equivalence?

I posted it to show that Democrats (and the miserable left-leaning mainstream media) are doing the exact same thing that Obama was telling Trump not to do.

And I posted it in the hopes that Clinton will remember what she said in her concession speech and stop whining.

IBM Chief Executive Officer Ginni Rometty said she plans to hire about 25,000 people in the U.S. and invest $1 billion over the next four years, laying out her vision for filling technology jobs in America on the eve of a meeting of industry leaders with President-elect Donald Trump.

I figure the chances of the libs not whining  is likely equal to the chances of the cons not gloating

Great news on IBM. Even the threat of negative press from Donald seems to spur some activity on the jobs front, which is good to see (can't imagine how that could be used for nefarious purposes...).

IBM will hire 10 Americans and 24,990 H-1B applicants.
