A narcissistic presidential candidate? You don't say!

Fair enough, but Trump really takes it to another level.

Or, I guess you could say he's more honest about his self-love, which is probably a lot of self-loathing in thin disguise.

And he always has to make everything about him.  If you bring something up he somehow ties it back to him.  I work with a guy like that in a way, who is a topper.  No matter what you're talking about, he's done it slightly better or faster or whatever.  One of these days when I'm around him I want to say I've run a six-minute mile, just to hear about how he's run a mile in 5:50.

I know someone like this as well. I often make shit up just to hear his topper stories. Such a liar.

you've just perfectly described my dad (minus the running the mile thing).

Trump happenings today:

1. He went on a twitter rant about Alicia Machado starring in a porno, which was incorrect.  It was later revealed that Trump had a cameo in a soft-core Playboy movie.

2. His poll numbers are dropping.

3. Several more newspapers, some that have always supported the Republican candidate,  endorsed Hillary.

4. His numbers in Florida are dropping due to possible dealings with Cuba.

5. A rape lawsuit was refilled against him.

6. Sean Hannity is still waiting for someone to call him.

7. A multiple adulterer himself,  he continued to applaud himself for not bringing up Hillary's philandering husband,  thereby bringing it up.

8. His charity was revealed to not have the proper filing to be a charity.

Not a good day for Donald.

Yeah he pretty much epitomizes the worst stereotypes about Americans - loud, brash and full of shit.  Anything he says he commits to like it's his last stand and the problem is a lot of what comes out of his is the equivalent of verbal diarrhea he then tries to back up.

Sounds a lot like people on here.

While interesting, do any of these really matter to his supporters?  He's going to finish up at about 41-45% of the total popular vote and lose the electoral college by a boatload.

I agree

while we're at it, is there anything less relevant than a newspaper endorsement ?

Of course it doesn't matter to his supporters (see Blarg's post above, which drags Colin Kaepernick into this, something Trump would definitely approve of).  However, it almost certainly has some impact on the "undecideds."  The Cuba allegations could really hurt in in Florida, a state he needs with a big voting block of ex-Cubans who still hate Castro.

But also remember, a week ago he was riding high and almost even with Clinton in the polls.  I'm sure Clinton, expert political assassin that she is (except she missed Obama, but Trump is an easier target), might have had something to do with some of these things coming out this week.

Call me cynical.  (Go ahead, do it.  I'll wait here.)

Ok, call me cynical but I just don't think it's ever been that close.  I think polls and media outlets work very hard to make things look close and interesting.  It's how they pay the bills.  No one is going to keep watching a football game that's 28-0 after the first quarter.  (unless it's your team with 28.)

Awesome. Say what you will about The Donald, the guy is very entertaining. And Hillary probably deserves just about everything he says about her.
