I always thought having five or six choices will be great. Some Western countries have even more candidates on the ballot. The problem is that someone can win an election with 20% of the total votes. Every which way is a clusterfruck. I wonder if having better candidates is a better solution than simply more names on a ballot.

look carefully at your ballots, gentlemen. there are always 5 or 6 candidates on the ballot.

the problem is that we almost never hear a thing about most of them.

This is the key. With the vast amount of money and power collected by the feds it's a magnet for people who are only interested in that.

How do I not have my facts straight?  The Mexican president told Trump they weren't paying for the wall. Trump said they didn't discuss the wall. 

I know that given Trump's sterling history with the truth during the campaign that you're much inclined to believe him, to the point of defending him like this.
