I think it's a huge leap to say he's still in it.  From an electoral college standpoint, this thing is going to be a blood bath.  

There's always the chance of a huge October surprise that could hurt Clinton, but that would also require that Trump stops saying stupid shit everyday.

Hillary had a similar lead after Trump bashed the brown judge. He chilled out a bit, the race got a little closer, and then James Comey laid into Hillary. The numbers were pretty close after that. Still a lot of time for things to go wrong. And with Hillary, there's always a drip drip drip. Just the other day, there was more email crap. It's incredible how much baggage there is with her.

What's sad is that most Americans have no idea how much power has been centralized to the office of President. Executive orders written at an alarming rate, bombing countries (acts of war) without congressional approval, detaining "unlawful combatants" in Guantanamo, etc...

we can argue all day long about whether trump was actually calling for her to be assassinated, and neither of us will be swayed.

in both cases, there were at least slight suggestions that someone do something, and people on both sides have either rigorously defended defended their candidate or rigorously crucified the opposing candidate. i'm content to leave it at that.
