I'm reading that Gingrich is being pushed hard to provide a "wonkish" type to the ticket...I think the best quote I've ever read about Gingrich is "the stupid man's idea of what a smart person sounds like"...so in that regards it would make a lot of sense. Gingrich is also probably the only person outside of Palin who can match Trump's grifter status as well.

channel 7 news reported this kid showed up in vegas on saturday and went to a gun range to learn how to shoot a gun. then he went to the trump rally on sunday and told a cop he wanted to get close enough to the stage so he could get trumps autograph. at some point he then tried to take the cop's gun from his belt holster, but the cop wrestled him to the ground and cuffed him.

Apparently over the weekend a 19 yr. old british man tried to steal a cops gun at a rally with the intention of shooting Trump. It would appear he spent the previous day at a Las Vegas gun range learning how to shoot a gun...he tried to steal the gun because he thought it was the easiest way to get a firearm (apparently he's not familiar with US gun laws and didn't just head to a gun show and pick up a few ARs).
