I think what's more impressive is that there were zero deaths related to commercial aviation since before Obama took office. Some serious mojo on Trump's part that he can go back in time like that.

the number of deaths on American commercial airlines didn’t change in 2017 relative to 2016 — because it’s hard to go lower than “zero.” The last time someone died in the crash of an American commercial flight was in February 2009 — less than a month after Barack Obama first took office.

Those who oppose Trump are still taking anything and everything hate pumpkin says at face value? And giving him an assist by spreading his messages by critiquing them as if they were legitimate? Reason 526,841 of why we can't have nice things. 526,840 of course being those that still support him taking  what he say at face value. I would have thought there would be more cynicism left in the world.

Meanwhile coal mining deaths went from a record low 8 in 2016 to 15 in 2017.

That was also the record low of coal miners in the US. A number that dropped from 102k in 2015 to 81k, a net loss of 21k miners or about a quarter of the work force. In 2015 there were 12 miner deaths.

Trump has a ways to go before he tops Obama's 202 miners killed in coal mining during his term.

Given his penchant for rolling back safety regulations I'm confident he can do it, despite the shrinking workforce.

It really doesn't matter though, because the primary purpose of coal is not to kill people.

This would be the article/book excerpt that appears to have set Trump off this morning. Certainly reads like liberal fan fiction, and it definitely reads like Banon and some other people trying to set a specific narrative.

Why did we do this on a Friday, when it would hit the airports hardest and bring out the most protesters?

“Errr … that’s why,” said Bannon. “So the snowflakes would show up at the airports and riot.” That was the way to crush the liberals: Make them crazy and drag them to the left.

Who would have thought...

Do you believe Trump that Bannon and him aren't bffs anymore?
