Fake news @Blarg.

He didn't say Puerto Rico wasn't a real catastrophe for fuck sake. He was basically saying that its good that they only lost 16 people as opposed to the hundreds lost from Katrina when the storms were both CAT 5. This is basic comprehension.

The budget thing was said jokingly. Inappropriate? Maybe, but he wasn't slamming Puerto Rico for costing them money like numb skulls would have you believe.

I didn't hear the comparison between Katrina. As far as the "whack" comment, coming from a guy who criticized us for staying in Afghanistan only to reverse and follow the money, he can stfu about money allocation.

I get that he's baiting. Doesnt mean we can't call him out on his bullshit.

Meanwhile the US Virgin Islands are completely left out of the conversation and are in a shambles as well.

“If you look at the — every death is a horror, but if you look at a real catastrophe like Katrina and you look at the tremendous hundreds and hundreds of people that died and what happened here with a storm that was just totally over bearing. No one has ever seen anything like that. What is your death count?"

"16," responded Governor Ricardo Rosselló.

"16 certified," Trump said.

This is both caulous and unwarranted and also a disgrace the the office of the president. You need to get your head on straight.

My head is perfectly straight, thanks for the concern.

Again, this is basic reading comprehension. He didn't say Puerto Rico was not a real catastrophe, and the term "real catastrophe" when used to describe Katrina is used in the sense of "a really fucked up situation", not meant to discredit Maria.

Fuck people are pussies these days to get worked up over such dumb shit.

No, your head is tucked firmly up your ass. Trump clearly defined Katrina as a real catastrophe and used death toll as his measurements, marginalizing the devestation of Puerto Rico.

So, yeah, you're dead fucking wrong. Go find some other sandbar in a storm to take a stand.

Again, he used the death toll as a comparison to say that Puerto Rico should be proud they haven't had nearly as many people die as Katrina.

Believe what you want, i'll choose the common sense explanation instead of thinking he went to Puerto Rico to give them the middle finger.

Sorry, MAGA, but if Blarg is taking Trump to task, you know our prez is in the wrong.

It happened Friday and none of the major papers have reported on it as far as I can tell.

Here is some clarification:

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/following-backlash-us-clarifies-un-vote-on-death-penalty-for-gays/ar-AAsUup0?li=BBnb7Kz

One of the important sections:

Jessica Stern, executive director of OutRight Action International, a global LGBTQ human rights organization, acknowledged the U.S. vote on the U.N. resolution was misconstrued.

"There's been some misreporting and misconceptions," Stern told NBC News. "The U.S. always opposes this death penalty resolution, because it makes reference to a global moratorium on the death penalty. For both Obama and Trump, so long as the death penalty is legal in the U.S., it takes this position."

"OutRight will call out the Trump administration on its many rights violations, its many abuses of power from LGBTI violations to xenophobia, but this particular instance is not an example of a contraction of support on LGBTI rights,"

Damn, @Rico!  Even the Executive Director of an LGBTQ rights organization hates the gays!
