For the record Bubba Wallace never saw the "noose." It was one of his teammates that reported it.

If you want to blame anyone blame NASCAR. They are the ones that let this become a story without apparently doing any sort of research of what happened.

The noose was found Sunday by a team member of Wallace’s. Wallace did not see the noose and only knew it existed when he was informed by NASCAR president Steve Phelps later that afternoon.

 

Again Bubba is not the one to blame here.

I think the reaction of many to the confederate flag banning sort of speaks to the issue here.  Good that this particular incident turned out to not be what was initially reported.  When the story first broke some kid of a former nascar driver literally posted congratulations to whoever did it and said that he wished someone would tie a noose around Wallace’s neck and drag him around the pits.  Some of you guys don’t want to accept it for whatever reason but these sentiments are real.

Never.

Why ruin a good clickbait? Even if you’re wrong no one cares about the truth and just what was initially reported. Court of public opinion rules. No news or media redactions do shot or change anyone’s mind.
