What if the factories producing stuff shut down or can’t staff themselves because of the virus?  What if the supply chain breaks down?  I’m a little concerned the Star Wars figurines I ordered aren’t going to come on time if too many amazon drivers get freaked out or sick.

You may have to trade them for tp

This is my concern. I am not going to let my family starve to death because I didn’t do everything in my power to stock up on basic food supplies. And I sure as f**k don’t expect the federal government to come to my aid.

In all honesty, this is real.

If you can stock up on 2 weeks of food and water, do it. Then dont touch it. Continue to buy new stuff every day (like individual meals, not grocery shop).

This should and most likely will be over in a relative short time. And we are equipped to deal with it.

But lets say something else goes wrong? Not to mention the ripple effect of all this. Businesses being closed down, etc.

Stock up for a few weeks if you can.

P.S. its funny seeing the soup aisle empty.... aside from fully stocked certain flavors. Literally people would rather starve than eat pumpkin soup, I saw.

agreed. this panic buying is ridiculous and unnecessary. there's no shortage of food or supplies being produced. there's no shortage of water, either. people are losing their minds thinking we're going to run out of stuff. the only way this becomes true is because are panic buying, causing as artificial shortage.

That's part of it. Also a big factor is no one knows what the hell is going to happen. Just two weeks ago is was still kind of a joke to most of us. Then all of a sudden major sporting events are getting cancelled, then schools started closing, now they're calling for the closing of all restaurants, and bars. As the Vegas guys stated earlier big casinos are completely shutting down. None of us have ever gone through something like this, so in a way the panic is kind of understandable.

glad i don't eat dairy, bread, or eggs because i got back from the store an hour ago, and it was pretty much all gone.

Funny enough, of all the stores ive been to the last few days, everything is cleaned out except the vegetables.

Because when everyone is worried about getting sick, why try to eat healthy shit with vitamins in it?
