My wife, our two kids, and I have still managed to avoid it. And it's not like we're being extra careful anymore or anything.

Desantis was pro-COVID 19 vaccine at least as late as summer of 2021 and supported other vaccines prior to 2020.  

I’m less turned off by those who I disagree with but stand by their principles than those who will change those principles to appeal to certain groups (like the anti-vax GOP majority here).  

Makes him look even more like a pandering douche.

It's just luck of the draw. I kept going out during the lockdowns and didn't get infected (insert cals backyard joke here) but then I've had it 3 times after that. Just doing the same old things I've always done.

there seems to be a rise in the "oh no, we could be headed for another indoor mask mandate" kind of stories in the news, so i'm kind of expecting we'll return to masks sometime after Christmas break.

There really wasn’t a lot of it circulating in 2020 and even most of 2021.  It wasn’t until omicron that it exploded and everyone got it.  So you could have left your backyard the first 18 months and been fine.  Good news is you found the perfect risotto recipe in that time you wouldn’t leave your house.

Yup, I've still been going to the petre dish that is known as Casinos all through the Covid outbreak.  From 2 weeks before they shut everything down.  To a month after they opened it back up.  And even to the injun casinos when their indoor restaurants were open, but all of Calolfornia's restaurants were mandated shut down.  Only wore a mask when it was mandated.  

Never caught it yet.  

Although, one camping trip, rode back with a buddy on a 8 hour drive, and he got knocked down by the Rona 2 days later, where I didn't.  

But I expect it will only be matter of time, and I'll probably catch it when it's the zombie version.

Other than Larry, are there other anti Covid vax cons here or are you referring to the article?
