Hit it great again. Missed a handful of 6-8 footers. Made two bombs for birdie though. Bladed a couple of wedges from in close. Totally cost me. I will break 80 there soon.

46 on the back 9 at Strawberry Farms. Putted well. Pushed everything though.

Oh yeah, Mira Loma.  Some interesting courses in that area.  Ever played Oak Quarry over there?  El Rivino?

Have not played either.

Last time I played was Oak Quarry.

It's when it was hot as shit so everything was dried out and crappy.

They have a set of holes, I think 14-15 that play through a pretty gnarly canyon or rock quarry setting which is pretty cool.

Pretty challenging course.

Played Costa Mesa yesterday. First time I swung the clubs In months. 88 with two triples. I'm with that.

Played with my wife and two kids yesterday. I shot an 80....i don't think i made a putt outside 5 feet. My wife spot a 97,my boys were right around the mid 120's

I was jonesing to get out on a track so I hit up Willowick today. With the Eagles having a bye today, it was a no-brainer for me.

 

I called this morning and found out they were having a tournament at 11:30 so I tried to get out there before it started. Show up around 10:30 and the driving range is packed with kids. It was an US Golf Kids tournament so I didn't have time to hit any balls before the round. Checked in and got set up with a three some going out just before the kids tourney.

 

I hate playing without hitting at least a small bucket so I thought I would be all over the place. Step up to the first tee and hit 3 wood just to try to keep it in the fairway. Bogey on 1 followed by pars on 2 and 3, then I started giving away strokes. I was mashing off the tee but couldn't hit my irons accurately for distance or would crush a drive and have 100-130 left and would hit a wedge fat and come up short. Frustrating day. I ended up shooting an 87.

 

On the 10th hole par 5, I was 10 yards from the frindge in 2 but ended up chipping on the green short and missing about a 12 footer for birdie. It was one of those kinds of days, but fun to be out on the course.

Played 9 holes with my wife this evening.  I played crappy again.....42.  She shot a 44.  I better be careful or she will be beating me pretty soon.

After a 7 on 18 I shot another 87 at Willowick on Wednesday. Played the Par 3s in 8 over. Ouch!
