1.  The restriction of speech.  Who defines hate speech?

2.  Energy dependency of foreign oil

3.  Universal health care has merit....if we didn't have open borders

There are plenty of Supreme Court precedents clarifying which speech is and is not protected by the Constitution. You can't tell "FIRE!" in a crowded movie theater if there isn't a fire, for example. Westboro Bastard Cult was allowed to protest outside of military funerals, however.

I think I was mixing up the Constitution with the rights of businesses. You can yell the N word in a public restaurant and you aren't getting arrested. But you sure as hell can be removed and banned from that establishment. 

You are correct that the right to free speech is protected by the constitution. But that doesn't mean you can call your Black coworker the N word with no repercussions.
