Yes, because he was a better alternative to the corrupt Clinton and Biden.

And yes, every politician seems to acquire that, or in Trump’s case before coming into office.

It’s a commentary on the political environment.

Trump said some out there things, and should not have totally minimized CoVid in the beginning, although likely doing that to minimize panic in the country which was a well meant idea.

The economy and inflation (except for land values skyrocketing beyond inflation %) were doing fine through 2019 under Trump’s watch.

Biden insists on blaming everyone but himself for high inflation and gas prices.   Before Putin invaded Ukraine, those were already a lot higher.   He’s the Teflon man to me.

I would love to see compromise between the two parties to get things done and benefit the most people.

But there is a big chasm between the far left and far right.   I will say that it’s coming more from the far left though since 2019.   It’s like they want to totally change this country.

Ok so you know the President doesn't control gas prices, right? He has a slight impact, but overall the impact is minimal. You've had ridiculous gas prices in California forever. Why is it now the President's fault? Believe it or not the US is actually paying significantly lower in gas than a large portion of 1st world countries.

As for inflation? That's been going up for years now. Only now is it an "issue". It is an issue. But blaming it on Biden is lazy.

You say you'd like to see a compromise between the two parties. The funny thing is, that's literally what Biden is. Only you've been, uh, "conditioned" to believe that Biden is leaning "far left", which is an absolutely ridiculous notion and exactly what the people you vote for want you to believe. There's nothing "far left" in the US, outside of maybe BLM and they have far less influence than you likely think they do. Just look at the retarded Branco thing above. Gas prices at Costco in Orange County were just 2.50 per gallon as Biden took office.   After he killed the Keystone pipeline and lowered oil production, even Costco gas prices increased to around 4.25 per gallon BEFORE Putin set up the Ukraine invasion.

That affects poor people a lot.
