This is exactly the type of guy that suffers a season-ending injury two weeks into the season if we sign him. Our rotation is already filled with injury-prone #3-5 starters, why add yet another?

Angels need pitching and have stated they are going after pitching.  Therefore, we have interest.

He was extremely impressive in the extra innings game vs the Dodgers, but I worry about durability over the season. I feel like he is a Closer and not a starter. Avoid please.

Houston makes a ton of sense for Eovaldi too. His hometown and they have the rotation and farm to absorb the risk, and he’d help fill the void of Morton/Keuchel leaving.
