We cant make more than 1 significant trade without losing too much at this point, so any other help is going to have to come from FA. 

The market is what it is, if you want to win, you pay the price.  If we do nothing, we accept losing.

Dont get me wrong i agree the numbers im seeing floating around right now feel very high and im not pleased with the implications, but if this team is going to win now, or in 21 and beyond, its going to need to spend.

How much is winning worth?

Yeah pretty hard to not at least kick the tires there. 

The Red Sox have such a shitty farm and a top-heavy payroll...a couple MLB-ready prospects from the Angels would be awfully helpful. 

Not as interested in Porcello or Bradley but not opposed at looking either.

He’s said that he wants to test free agency after this season when he’s a FA so yeah, as much as I’d love him how much would you be willing to risk for a possible one year rental?
