10 years ago this time i remember positing on a Laker forum - Waiting for Teixeira to make is decision it didn't turnout to bad, got Abreu who had a great 2009 season and getting NY's 2009 pick some G.O.A.T at CF.

I can’t decide if that’s what he meant or if that language has to do with acquisition cost: ‘We could get Gray for a reasonable cost but we’re trying for a steal.” Probably how you took it, but I’m not positive.
