I think the expectations here need to be lowered a bit. Baseball is hard. Ward is finding that out. He deserves the chance to figure it out. If he doesn't, we know we have another hole to fill (gross).

Don’t disagree but a poor Sept by Ward means Eppler probably looks around in the offseason (Moustakas?).....a strong Sept by Ward means he might get pencilled in to start, at least gets a legit shot vs Cozart, if Cozart doesn’t play 2b....we’ll see....Fletcher has taken advantage of his chance, as has Pena....
