Pertinent stat: 7th blown save for Cam in 2018.

That stat should have caused Scioscia to opt for a different pitcher.  However, Scioscia may not have had anyone else available.  From the moment Bedrosian has entered the majors, he has consistently demonstrated that he is not a high leverage relief pitcher.  I fail to understand why the Angels continue trying to make him into something he is not.

That would not be good for the 2019 season.

Well when I look at our bullpen we have a handful of guys much worse than Bedrosian.  Akeel Morris, Parades, Noe, Johnson, Jerez all of which have been worse this year.  So I have a pretty good impression that Bedrosian will be back.

I think the jury is still out on Jerez.

I also think Bedrosian will be back. He's shown he can have a great season.

I know you are correct about Bedrosian.  I hope the Angels find him a role where he can be more successful.  High leverage situations do not seem to match up with him.

And therein lies the problem. We have all these guys that are worse than Bedrosian, so he gets to stick around. It's the same catch 22 that keeps Pujols around getting ABs
