Fun lineup. Would be more fun with trout, but what can ya do.. let's hope the kids do more swimming than sinking. If we can have faith in Fletcher as a utility player next year and ward as a starting 3b, then this off season looks a little easier.

Or Rengifo (40 SBs, high OBP) as a leadoff hitting 2B, Ward as 3B, and Fletcher as super utility guy (LF, RF, 2B, SS, 3B) getting plenty of at bats and glove time?

Fresno State did win a CWS title one year (2008), although that came before Judge and Ward got to Fresno State.

Jhoulys Chacin is doing quite well since leaving the Angels. 12-4, with 3.72 ERA

He shut out the Cubs 7-0 over 7.1 innings. Funny how players seem to flourish once they shake Angel Stadium dirt off their uniforms.

He is getting plenty of hitting support in Chicago.   3.72 ERA in the NL is like having a 4.00+ ERA in the AL.   It would be nice to have, but he's not an ultimate rotation regular solution, given his past.

If they can get Cowart on a hitting streak, the payoff would be huge with his versatility.  It's worth the effort.
