Mike with out a doubt. I don’t feel like managers make that big of a difference in terms of wins and losses in Baseball. I can’t stand Albert on this team. He is pure awful. Guy has a below 300 obp. Just gross.

This is in part why I posted the poll.  While a ton of people are going to be rejoicing over the Scioscia news; the impact of a manager needs to be put into perspective.  Ned Yost LITERALLY thought he wasn't allowed to use his three bullet-train relievers until the 7th inning in 2014;  he still took his team to WS Game 7.

That is why the answer was an easy one. Give me Sosh and give me back the nearly $30 million that Pujols is making yr to yr that can be better used on improving the overall talent of the team

Yep and then we have his $25 million sitting on the bench. Where if we had Scioscia and no Albert they have $25 million more to spend.  Then again that only matters if in this scenario one or the other retires.
