He was replacing Scalia so that was a push. Balance maintained.

Kavanaugh though replaces the swing-voter Kennedy. Solid 5-4 conservative majority now. Unacceptable to the left. Destroy the nominee.

What on earth is it that you know about him that makes you so convinced that he’s a “decent man”.  As I’ve said many times in this thread, there’s plenty of arch conservative white dudes who aren’t this guy.  What is the deal here ? Why does it have to be Brett Kavanaugh ?

We know this Kavanaugh guy almost certainly lied about to the FBI when he was in the Bush White House.  Remember when you guys were swooning over senator Sasse prattling on about how the court should be apolitical.  Brett Kavanaugh is a political agent. 

We know he was fine writing some gay code in his year book about how he fuc*ked some girl and that she was a whore.  But he was 17 right ?  He had no idea what was right and wrong.  

He associates with that Mark Judge guy, who writes books about being a sexual deviant.

theres like what 4 women now accusing him of various degrees of sexual assault.  The reality is we’ll never know the truth of this.  We just don’t know. 

what he seems like is a an over privileged shit bag.  Even if he’s not guilty of the sexual assault stuff.
