You should drink them all tonight.

My cousin is in town from the Central Valley. We will make a dent but I also have Stone Enjoy By, Anniversary, Alpine Expo, Duet, Nelson, Pure Hoppiness and Red. Dont think we can crush even one bottle of each

Had a glass of Suede and 11.12.13 today. Suede was interesting, lighter than I thought and a bit sweet and floral. It was different and worth trying but don't think I will be picking up more. Enjoy By was fine but not spectacular, seemed to be very similar to the 10.25.

120 is the schizel. How much a pint?

They dont do pints of 120. Dogfish 120 is alright but not near a top IPA. A good IPA is well balanced with solid hop characteristics, 120 is made to push the envelope. A sipping beer that is nice to have here and there but not something I would normally want to drink. It also seems to showing up much more often.

Pairing question here:

It's cold, blustery and will be raining tonight. I'm going to get a nice Australian meat pie for dinner and bring it back to my place. Suggested beers or beer styles to pair?

I have a lot of Russian Imperial stouts (Yeti, Old Rasputin, Stone and Narwhal to name a few) but I'm worried they might be too strong.

Any recs on a dry stout? Maybe Fuller's.

Porter or Nut Brown Ale recs? Are they not strong enough?

Maybe a good old pale ale. I don't think an IPA would go well.

do people really pair beers? are book clubs and veapas next?

enjoy by 10-25 on tap at Slater's. smoother than most stones, but I think I'm over them. especially with everything James has given me recently. with all the breweries popping up the past few years there is no reason to have a brash and pungent ale unless it's your gig. it's really harsh on the palate after Alpine or El segundo.
