Picked up the coconut ipa today. Not a big fan of anything coconut normally but figured what the hell.

I don't have high hopes for it at all.

On a side note this Beachwood Thrillseeker is really good.

I like Thrillseeker quite a bit. Melrose is still my favorite IPA they bottle. INXS needs to be bottled by them.

Grabbed a bottle of this the other day from Total Wine. I really liked it.

I tried the R&R both on tap and out of the bottle. Glad I only bought one, it was poorly executed. Very disappointing from Stone, Their IPAs have been great lately. It was better out of the bottle, and got better as it warmed. I guess the Dayman was so amazing I had high hopes for this one. This is the worst beer I've had from Stone other than some of the mix tape blends.

I'm not a huge pumpkin fan either. But there is some amazing Pumpkin beers. A few other people I know dislike Pumpkin but love some of the beers brewed with it.

Just had a Joseph James Russian Imperial Stout. Very good. Chocolate, coffee, bourbon and vanilla all come through. I'd get it again.

Noble is also tapping a new keg of Big Whig IPA and growler fills of their Too Darn Hot will be available.  Did anyone watch the Mystery Diner show last night that featured Derek from Newport Beach Brewing?  Was pretty funny!

Najas in Redondo will launch their annual IPA week starting next Thursday. They always come through with some special kegs for this event.

 

For tonight around LA, Smog City is going to have a cask of Dr Hoo-Mango Hoptonic IPA. They will also have Amarilla Gorilla and Hoptonic on tap.
