The hatred is very disturbing. The final solution is always violence with these people. If they can't win in the courts they might resort to assassination.

A very difficult summer ahead for America.

Meh, just a bunch of keyboard warriors talking shit.

This could actually be helpful to the Dems. They just need to emphasize that Trump is emboldened to do whatever he wants when he’s elected. Just like the draconian abortion laws only serve to drive more Dem voters to polls.

Go to the megathread on /r/politics. It's flooded with it.

Also just stuff like this

That tweet is funny. And true. You need to learn to not take everything so seriously.

Also r/politics is a cesspool. Normal lefties don’t claim it.

Then those red states will just have to deal with losing their power. Unless that is what the voters in those states really want.

Check out how abortion initiatives have done in red states since Roe was overturned.

You asked for people saying it. There it is.

If "don't take everything so seriously" is a defense, I would expect a lot of latitude from the likes of yourself in the case of Trump.

You’re right. Here are my posts freaking out about this SC ruling:

It's in response to Trump's lawyers.

Trump team argues assassination of rivals is covered by presidential immunity
https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/4398223-trump-team-argues-assassination-of-rivals-is-covered-by-presidential-immunity/

Former President Trump’s legal team suggested Tuesday that even a president directing SEAL Team Six to kill a political opponent would be an action barred from prosecution given a former executive’s broad immunity to criminal prosecution

The hypothetical was presented to Trump attorney John Sauer who answered with a “qualified yes” that a former president would be immune from prosecution on that matter or even on selling pardons.

In the hearing that reviewed a motion from Trump’s team to toss his election interference charges, Sauer argued that presidents can only be criminally prosecuted if they have already been tried and convicted by the Senate.

“He would have to be impeached and convicted,” Sauer replied.

Baited question with a truthful answer.

What’s crazy is if this was a majority liberal SC that ruled this after a Democrat president did shady shit, conservatives would be totally okay with it.

Maybe. The last time a SCOTUS justice was impeached was in 1804. AOC is an obnoxious blow hard and most in her party aren't going to play this game with her.

I’m just relieved this ruling will apply equally to Republican and Democrat presidents. Now Biden can get going on some official business.

Is there really any question about this now? Joe Biden is not running the executive branch.

Thank you. Now his handlers can get him to do shady shit as part of the president’s “official” duties.

Get him? As if tapping Trump’s offices as a candidate and raiding his home for documents wasn’t shady? Hell, Biden didn’t have the decency to clear the documents in his garage before targeting Trump for the same offense

Trump, Bill Barr, and SCOTUS have really shifted a lot of power to the POTUS these last 7 years. Basically dissolved all checks and balances. I'm sure that will work out just fine.
