Looks like this is coming down today.  Depending on their decision, this may help provide Joe a little cover from last night's disaster.

Not sure what this has to do with Biden but alright.

Here are the cases left to be decided by the Supreme Court

Minus Grants Pass and Chevron.  And I think one of the social media cases were determined.

Quote

Trump immunity (Trump v. United States)

Jan. 6 obstruction charge (Fischer v. United States)

Florida, Texas social media cases (NetChoice v. Paxton and Moody v. NetChoice)

Statute of limitations (Corner Post v. Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System)

Barrett breaks with conservatives over Jan. 6 obstruction charge ruling

Quote

In a pointed dissent, Justice Amy Coney Barrett skewered her fellow justices over their decision to narrow an obstruction charge used to prosecute scores of rioters who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

The Supreme Court voted 6-3 Friday to side with Joseph Fischer, a former police officer accused of partaking in the Capitol attack who challenged the provision as being improperly applied to rioters.

Quote

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, a liberal, joined the conservative majority. In a separate opinion, she signaled her belief that it is possible for Fischer and other defendants to still be prosecuted under the charge.

This is fucking fantastic.

Ya I personally think that like the railroad industry is going to be really serious about defect detection system etc. obviously tyranny to have a regulatory agency paying attention slightly.

Don't be dim, they are just trying to buy votes. They know none of their policies move the voting needle for anyone 40 and under so promising to clear their credit rating will move that demographic to the polls. Print more money, create an inflationary economy, raise interest rates, add taxes, start another endless war but offer free ponies for votes.

Imagine calling yourself a Christian and being cool with this.

A city can’t be a Christian. The Christian thing to do would be to help the homeless and anyone less fortunate. That’s on us as people, not the government

Weird man, nobody is stopping you from “helping the homeless and less fortunate” if it’s that simple why don’t “people” just do that.  Much to consider imo.

Who do you think helps them out the most? Governments or charities?

Lol.  “Help” nobody actually helps those people.  But in terms of who gives them the most scraps absolutely the government.  What the fuck are you talking about.

remember when all you people were screaming bloody murder about them getting phones.  Who was that? To what extent do you imagine many of the charities are funded by government grants?

a big problem with your thought process here is that you apparently have no conception of the actual scale of the society that you live in.  Or its problems.

I was talking more about the homeless here in California. Non profits like Churches and other charitable groups like that help these people much more than our government ever will. Our government has helped create this problem. Look at prop 47, it lowered the crimes for drug possession and now these people don't get put into the system. Do you think most people with drug problems are going to enter treatment voluntarily? Our elected officials here in California seem to fuck everything up.

Hold on, please clarify that.  You think the issue is that these people don’t get “put into the system”

Jason, you don’t care about helping anyone.  You just don’t want to see them.
