Not saying we should get him -- but, Bosox showing they don't want to be a part of his further decline.   Kinda crazy they have no released both of their big FA signings from a few years ago...  Panda and now Hanley.

The Red Sox are a team that understands that FA signings are a sunk cost.  It doesn't do them any good for the team to continue to play these crappy players when it's continually hurting the team.  Wish the Angels would figure that out soon.

If anything, we should learn from what Boston is doing, and use the same strategy to clear out some non-productive veterans...

His wOBA would rank 11th -- behind Cozart and ahead of Maldonado.   His wRC+ would be 12th.... behind AP, and ahead of Valbuena.

thought Hanley hit ok during the early part of the season.

BoSox will trade him for middle level prospect and shed some salary.

Some AL team will take him.  Don't think he would fit with us -- we have too many one dimensional DH/ can barely play corner infield guys now.

No.  Rameriz has an at bat criteria that potentially kicks in another expensive year.  Valbuena finishes after this year.
