Im as over pujols and his contract as anyone here, but i agree with rosenthals take. Pujols' career has been amazing. Forget Arod with the juice allegations. Pujols, Mays and Aaron...thats inpressive as hell.

If he gets to 2000 RBI, who does he join? Is there a 3K hit, 2K rbi club? 600 HR 2K rbi club?

That dip shit Bill Plaschke has another article out trying to knock the Angels down a peg (per always) for the Pujols stuff.  

I don’t really agree with Rosenthals outlook the other the way either.  Pujols is and will continue to be a mess for the Angels.  That is a valid part of the conversation.  But that’s the bed the Angels have made.  So it is what it is.  The Angels should celebrate the 3000 hits: They’re sure as shit paying for the right to do so.  NOT the f*cking Cardinals who let their guy walk.  I don’t want to hear this shit about how it should be in a Cardinals uniform.  I have no patience for people who whine about that. 

The Angels won’t have many more nice things like this with him.  Enjoy it.

Pujols and Trout are stuck like glue! Pujols seems to a genuine nice guy who cares about others. He is a more complete player at first base where he belongs. There is nobody on the club now who can take his place in the lineup this season imo. Winning now is all I care about at the moment. What ever is left in the till will probably be needed for pitching.

I would wish that since he is no longer on the M's active roster, that Ichiro could go out on the field and join the celebration of Pujols 3,000 hit.
