There may be more to it, as others have said. But I think Young is playing today because he's the only center fielder the Angels have if Trout hits as DH.

Blash is roaring at AAA for three weeks, but he won't be coming up for a while.

Astros are freaking stupid. They are one of the most dangerous hitting teams in baseball, and freaking Morton (3.62 era, 10k/9 last year) is their 5th starter - for good reason. They threw Peacock in the pen because he couldn't hang with the starters, despite having a 3.13 ERA over the last two years. Its not right man...They are a bats-first team that also happens to have like 3 Cy Young candidates.
