D'Shawn Knowles is a badass. He's now hitting .441/.525/.735 in 9 games in Orem, .333/.418/.463 overall in 39 games.

I’ll wait to get too hyped until he does it in full season ball.

but yeah, super impressive to be doing that at his age. He could start next year in Burlington, whereas Deveaux will have to repeat short season

Yes, exactly. And Deveaux was/is considered to have superior tools. But yeah, they're young.

After his slow start, Jordyn Adams is now batting .314/.359/.486 since his promotion to Orem.

Adams strikes me as a kind of typical slow burn development kind of project.  He's just now fully focusing on baseball.  Its nice to see him hitting, thats for sure.  Loads and loads of raw talent.  And, ya D'Shawn Knowles seems awesome.  Will be fun following next year going through a full season of pro ball.  Adams as well of course.

6th round 2016.  You know how that goes.  His numbers are terrible and he’s at Orem still.  Dudes a zero.

2016, 6th round. So on one hand he’s just par for the course...not every draftee works out, and most 6th rounders don’t. But he was considered a higher upside pick.

For every 6th rounder that pans out you probably have 10-15 that never make it past AA

its disappointing to see a total flop like this though. It’s always nice when you can draft a guy that you can at least use in a trade
