I'll be watching in my imagination as I follow along on GameDay. It sucks living in the A's MLB blackout zone, which goes north of Eugene. It sucks that my cable only carries Seattle for the AL and Giants NL. It even sucks that the Giants' over-the-air games appear locally on a channel that is in rate dispute with Charter.  I totally understand ESPN devoting 3 hours in the 1-4 pm slot to the Astros. But that sucks, too.

Thanks, Arte for always making it a night game.  I wouldn't mind one day opener someday... it'd be cool and different and I'd take the day off.  So glad they don't do it every year though.

I punched in an Oregon zip code into the blackout check on MLB's website, and it only came up with the Mariner's. Maybe it's changed...
