welp, one concern I had with Ohtani was him being HR prone in MLB. He was up in the zone a lot with his stuff in Japan. THat's now I think his 5 HR allowed this spring

I was thinking the same thing - Richards seemed like he only really came into himself when he started trusting his stuff and throwing strikes, and shifted from a GB pitcher to a K pitcher.

Second inning has certainly been concerning...not fooling anyone. Not sure you can pin that all on not being able to warm up after 2 outs while your AB.
