We've been home for a couple days now. Baby had her first dr appt this morning. Everything looks to be great. Avila is sleeping mostly through the night and has breast feeding down. Unexpectedly, we've been getting a fair amount of sleep. We've even taken her out to Target and Costco with no problems.

Leann is my wife's middle name. A few years ago my wife and I were at Avila Beach going over baby names. We said the name "Avila" and really liked it as a girl's name. Plus it's a short name which makes it easy when I have to yell at her.

The Avila beach and surrounding area really is a jewel of a spot around here. Beautiful name.
