interesting that they've ventured into the food business with the purchase of whole foods. taking over target would be a continuation of taking down walmart.

I always thought that Rite Aid would have been a perfect target.  They are on a smaller scale store, so Amazon could really do more with them and put lockers everywhere.  But at least Rite Aid had one thing that Amazon could have used and it's pharmacy.  Target is meh for me.  They have the pharmacy, but it's run by CVS.  The clothes is more of a direct competition with what they sell.  Grocery would compete with Whole Foods.  For me, it's just a lateral move to put stores up.  Nothing IMO new to the table.
