That’s from 2002 but for those of us who follow the team we’d probably have written about how they finally put together a core of homegrown players who fit the park and went on a roll. After years of free agent futility this might be a better way to proceed

I mean it is a pretty spot on article. He didn’t really throw any shade that wasn’t true. And I don’t think it was an article that was meant to trash the Angels, just kind of put a spotlight on everything Angels fans have been through throughout the years.

The Angels, outside of three seasons from '79-86 were pretty pathetic.
