I know what you mean. But any amount to a good cause is still a good thing. Throw 50 bucks to make a wish, wounded warriors, or any other foundation thats helping people who need it, its good karma.

You know, on an almost daily basis, we hear a lot of crap about athletes, actors, and other celebrities doing stupid and selfish things. We need to hear more about when they do something that is honestly good and decent.

Side note, as much as I dislike Pujols, he does a lot for persons and families of persons with Down Syndrome. 

Yeah, unfortunately, the dissapointment of his contract masks the guy himself. And by all acounts, hes a good guy.

I read a story once how after he hit #400, he took a cab to a local childrens hospital (i think in houston). He had seen some story about a sick kid eho was a big fan, wanted to see the cards when theywere in town because he was a big pujols fan, but couldnt because he was sick. So pujols goes there, supposedly by himself, and gives the kid the 400 bat.

Pujols is an incredible dude. His accomplishments on the field mean nothing compared to his accomplishments off the field. I'm sure he'd say the same thing.

Also good move by Hamels. I didn't like him before but now I do.
