I still think it’s a good signing.  I’m just giving Claude a hard time for obvious reasons.

Still a good signing. Made a hell of a play at short when he was moved there due to the Simmons injury and at worst provides plus defense at 3rd, short and second.

Still plenty of time for the bat to come around.  He’s hit some balls pretty hard right at guys.  Tho, the last week has been rough.  It was shitty for almost the whole team tho.  Not close to Kole Calhoun concern yet.

Yeah, it just seemed like we signed him because:

1)  He was cheaper than Moustakas

2)  He can play multiple infield positions 

3)  We were hoping his offense from 2017 was for real 

We ended up with a more expensive Cliff Pennington...

We didn't lose any draft picks though, selecting in every round.

I think he was referring to the fact we would have lost a draft pick signing Moustakas.

It likely was part of the reason we didn't ultimately sign though not the only reason.
