Disney wants Fox's regional sports networks to boost ESPN

Would this be a good thing or a bad thing for us that watch Angels on TV?

It seems they want the networks to help the ESPN brand.  So instead of it being called Fox Sports Prime Ticket or Fox Sports West, it could be called something like ESPN Prime Ticket or ESPN West.  Then they can use the regional channels to help promote their programming on the main ESPN channels.

So I don’t think it’s neccessrily a good or bad thing for the Angels.

It would be no different than the YES network broadcasting Angel games.

Call it whatever you want. Just don't make it as insanely difficult to get as the Dodgers channel.
