Almond milk tastes okay, but little to no protein makes it a lot less useful than soy milk for me. 

Haven't had dairy milk in at least 10 years, though I do eat regular cheese and ice cream and such. I can't bring myself to try to the veggie versions of those.

I've tried lots of the milk substitutes and am not a fan of the almond versions. There's a certain brand of quinoa and one brand of coconut that I use, mostly in my oatmeal. When I'm cooking something that calls for milk I just use milk

My ex was big into almond milk and would use it in recipes that called for milk, always ended in disaster and even she hated the items she cooked like the rest of us. It really cooks poorly.
