Angels 40 man-roster Freedom

Yep. Rosters are pretty fluid this time of year. I lost track of how many 40 man rosters that Juan Grateral was on last off season.

There are still 4 open slots on the 40 man roster. I guess you can still keep your hopes up.

You must be selling a lot of burgers, that's a hefty salary load.  I would be happy with Walker, Morrison, Revere, Petit, and Reed.  Trade Cron and a minor leaguer for a young third baseman who bats right handed (eg. Jeimer Candelario, switch hitter, Cubs).  Leave plenty of room for a starting pitcher at the trade deadline.

Candelario was traded to the Tigers last season.

Oh bummer, I didn't know that.  Well, maybe Detroit would like Cron and others.  I doubt that, I checked and he hit .330 (OBP of .406) in 92 AB's for the Tigers.  Wouldn't it have been nice if Cowart had done that.  Thanks for letting me know, I must have been too absorbed by our playoff chase, LOL.
