Agreed. I can't believe that they just hand out driver's licenses to anyone.

I look forward to car enthusiasts insisting what's needed is to put more unlicensed car owners out there...maybe make it easier to drink and drive...why don't we legalize drive-thru cocktail service? Maybe offer jello shots during happy hour.

Without reading any of those links I'm going out on a limb and say not a single one of those drivers intended on killing anyone when they sat in the car and turned the key.

It's not like they loaded the trunk with gasoline to make a car fire uncontrollable or put knives on their hubcaps and spear on the hood to increase it's killing power.

Actually no. They were banned in the 1990s I believe.  But there are people here still pissed about it. A certain Johnson signed the ban as governor.
