What a tragic story and the idiot that fired the weapon should be arrested for murder. The woman was 100 yards from her own home. That is criminally irresponsible to fire a weapon that close to another's property line and the jackass knew it. It's not accidental when you show no regard for the law. Make him rot in jail and forfiet his property.

Hunting a deer with a pistol, from your house, after dark, when you aren't a deer hunter.  Things don't add up here.  Because why would you shoot a deer when probably the worse it will do is eat some grass.  

I would not be surprised if it comes out that the dogs weren't leashed, they were running around being dogs, maybe pooped on his lawn once too many, and he fired to try and hit them, and hit her instead.

Yeah this story doesn't add up. It says that he fired a single shot, heard her scream and he ran and found her 200 yards away? 200 yards with a pistol is an incredibly long shot. It would take quite some time to line up that shot and some luck to actually hit your target. I think this guy just flat out murdered this woman for whatever reason.

In theory, this is correct.  Marijuana is still a class 1 or whatever narcotic under federal law.  Of course, what I don't get is why they would pursue this federal law, and not the federal law on illegal immigration or even blocking immigration from certain countries.
