I would like to protest the fact that many of the Angels' games these past few years (decades?) have been unwatchable, especially late in the season. I have been able to enjoy very few of them, and it hurts.

Arte’s 3 million fan march begins next April. :P

I'll bring my torch and pitchfork.

I want playoffs and World Series!! No more of this finishing-five-games-behind-the-second-wild-card-after-late-September-collapse.

Like Adam says, we need more black guys.

And not those imposters Torii warned us about.

Remember the article about the two white chicks in Portland that were forced to close their burrito restaurant because they were accused of cuturally appropriating a tortilla recipe in Mexico? And yet nothing is done about Taco John's.

My question remains - are the protests actually accomplishing anything fruitful?

I said it before in this thread. I was racist towards black people before, but ever since this whole movement started, they changed my mind and I will not be racist anymore.

I cannot believe that any die-hard NFL fan is really going to stop watching because of the players' "protests.

What next? Not drafting players on your fantasy team because they take a knee before the opening kick-off?

People who are tuning out are wannabes.

That's because the NFL represents 'Merica values, like felony assaults, domestic violence, drug use....

Fans should be kneeling hoping for a product that is not grounded in violence against women.  Something, something cast the first stone.

What metric would you use to answer that question?

no idea, but i'd sure like to see something somewhere from someone that says what these protests are accomplishing. all i see right now are many people upset about the perceived disrespect towards the flag and veterans, and many people who support the idea of protesting to raise awareness of mistreatment towards african-americans in our society. okay, awareness has certainly been raised, but what is it accomplishing? is racism, whether personal or institutional, being affected anywhere by all of this?
