I posted this before, being lighter won't make him faster. It just won't register at Caltech when he legs out a single that hits off the center field wall.

It won't make him faster, but it will ease the pain on his feet and knees which will only help him.

Maybe it's been said but maybe... just mayyyybe Albert has told the Angels he's done after this season and that's why they went ahead and traded for Upton?

Like said above, you can just tell he's in pain when he walks and despite being one of the people who doesn't think Albert will walk away from the money at what point does he say enough is enough? Unless he's planning on buying new legs with all his money I can't imagine him crawling around for the next 5 years

Simmons (on flare to LF), Upton (on his double) and Valbuena (HR that nearly wasn't a HR) all did it yesterday...Valbuena does it every at bat it seems like...he's does that stupid bat flip no matter what and then watches the ball....

Valbuena is probably so startled that he actually made contact that he loses control and the bat just flies out of his hand. That's got to be it. What is he now, like 2 for his last 47 or something?

You don't think the Angels would be having a celebrate Albert bonanza every game if they knew he was going to retire?

Wouldn't we expect the Yankees to give him a painting or something?

it should be a painting of a painting.
