Let’s clarify one thing I wish I had known when I was younger: there is no iced tea anywhere in the Long Island Iced Tea. It is simply the color of iced tea.

This is critical knowledge to have if you plan to drink one. Or three. Because not knowing this will get you in a whole heap of trouble.

prefer Long Beach instead, lemonade instead of sweet and sour.

Wife loves a long island.  Same instructions but with sweet and sour instead of lemon juice.

Drank about 5 of these one night along with tequila shots. We decided it was a good idea to go downtown afterward. I passed out standing up in a strip club on BC Street and woke up about 2 hours after the place closed. I don't know how they missed me standing in the corner there but Mamasan was pissed when I started pounding on the door trying to get out

I have similar stories, but trying to get in.
