Bridwell has been great this season but it's been very similar to Joe Saunders when he had that one good season here. Outpitching his peripherals which isn't something that you can rely on going forward. He only strikes out 5.59 batters per 9 IP which is pedestrian.

I was hoping Parker B. could keep his mysteries running for a few more weeks. Sub-90 stuff had better be thrown unhittable spots. Not tonight.

Wood doesn't inherit any runners. So there's that.

Bright side is the A's suck so the Angels are fully capable of catching up and they have plenty of time to do so....just wish Sosh got him out earlier because a 5-3 deficit is easier to overcome than 7-3

I count five people complaining about pulling him too late.  They had to wait for Wood to warm up.  The announcers even commented how long it was taking Wood to warm up.

Playoff teams don't give up 8 runs in an inning to fuckin Oakland. Oh and gave up 6 to them in an inning to lose game couple weeks ago. Just saying
