More about Al Benton: He died tragically in 1968 of burns suffered in an explosion at a motel he was managing in Lynwood.

He was 57 years old.

I'm guessing that this is after Bill Mazeroski's World Series winning home run in Game 7. One looks like Roberto Clemente, but I'm not 100% sure. Maybe Dick Groat is the other player.

Mazeroski is not involved, but you're getting very close.

Similar in appearance, but not Face, and not a pitcher.

Played for the Pirates in 1960-61, one of five teams he was on in a ten-year career.

Not a bigger career moment than what he did seconds before that photo was taken.
