What a tremendous amount of love, respect, and admiration yesterday from people all around MLB.   Writers, sportscasters, former players, both teammates and people he coached .... It seemed like everyone he touched felt the depth of what was lost....  I expected it from Angels fans given he was one of the guys that lead the team out of the second second division wasteland it had languished in for most of its existence but wow....  Baseball was hurting yesterday..

Interesting that the most commonly referred to aspect of Baylor's personality was his kindness....   Speaks volumes about the sort of man he was.

Baylor's home run in the 9th inning of Game 5 in the 1986 ALCS set into motion the dreadful chain of events...well, you know...

When I was a kid in the 70s and the Angels had a bench clearing brawl it seemed like Baylor always had two guys taken care of.  

Loved that guy.  Was really pissed yesterday because of it.   Wished he would have replaced Sosh earlier and guided these guys to the WS win.
